Experimentation…
I love experimenting. There’s nothing more that I love than just going out and trying new things. Yesterday that included not only revisiting a childhood passtime of skateboarding…but as you might imagine…creating some imagery from the experience.
What follows below is a series of rough shots and cuts of my son and his buddy as they showed daddy up! Well at least that’s what I wanted them to think
Enjoy!

Behind the Scenes…Group Shots
I’ve been very fortunate to work on a wellness campaign over the past year with a great set of clients.
Along the way we’ve snapped a few group and behind the scenes shots. Here are a few of my favorite!
More Dog Days!
A few fun shots with dogs. Dogs are so much fun to shoot! Always something unexpected that turns out great.

Bud Light Lime Pro Kayak Freestyle presented by First Ascent at the 2010 Teva Mountain Games
Our team travelled out to Vail Colorado to cover this year’s Teva Mountain Games for the Vail Valley Foundation. A great set of events that co-mingle outdoor lifestyle and sport into one massive weekend of awesomeness.

Behind the scenes | Sailing & Active Lifestyle
We wrapped up a shoot in the USVI and wanted to share some of the out-takes and behind the scenes footage.

We spent the first several days scouting for locations for the three shoots we had planned while there. This particular location was in St. John, Great Cruz Bay. The boat was tethered up and we started shooting in the harbor with the models getting ready to board the dinghies. Moved out to the boat (Soma, which is touted as the fasted charter catamaran in the world) and captured more images of Meredith and Tony prepping and otherwise just hanging out on the cat.
You can see many of the shots we captured in the video and several are now featured in my portfolio here.
Equipment and tools used for the shots featured:
1) Location: St. John USVI – Great Cruz Bay
2) Fantastic Talent: Tony and Meredith
3) Cameras: Canon 1Ds Mark III & 5D Mark II
4) Lenses: 35mm L, 24-70mm L, 70-200mm L 2.8, 50mm 2.8
